What do other people say?

"Since joining us Kate has gone above and beyond to provide support and care for those she is involved with and has always worked as an advocate for the children. From the moment Kate joined our school she has always been a team player: she has supported staff, worked hard, engaged with all members of staff. She has truly been an asset to our School and we cannot thank her enough for her kindness, care and commitment. We have had many successful years and hope to have many more."

SENCO Head of Early Years

“I have worked with Kate for a number of years and in my opinion the support and guidance she provides in play therapy has helped the children immensely. I have seen a transformation in the children I have put forward to work with Kate in play therapy.”

Acting Head of Primary School

Class Teacher Year 5

“Many children in my class have benefited greatly from attending play therapy with Kate. The weekly routine helps them to cope with stressful situations that may arise. They look forward to seeing her each week. Kate has a calm and caring nature that the children respond well to.”

Parent

"My family has had the benefit of two of our children working with Kate through their primary school for a number of years. Both of the children very much looked forward to their weekly sessions with Kate. My family have had some major challenges, she provided a quiet place to think, to talk, to discuss and to be listened to. We are immensely grateful to Kate, and she made a huge difference to us."

              Parent

“Kate worked with my daughter when she was going through a very distressing and unsettled period in primary school. She was struggling with feelings of failure and low self esteem, unable to articulate her concerns and getting frustrated with herself instead of her situation. Her work with Kate helped to support her to find ways of exploring her feelings through play.  It gave her a channel to feel more confidence in her self expression and a more positive attitude toward her own situation..”
